Put up like 7 lbs of wool fiber!
If you are as insane as I am, check em out
Some of them were even made using solar power!
Woot. Yay solar energy!

& yea, plants are spendy! I only had planned on buying maters this year, but it seems a bunch of my starts were et up by some garden critter. :((((

We lived in an off-the-grid strawbale in New Mexico for two years~~It was an awesome home and I miss it very much~~~You learn so much from living that way...PL

We did an unintentional off grid a few winters ago in a tin box. It was a great learning experience, but hard! (No power whatsoever, gathering water from a brook, etc..)

Strawbales are cool! We have come across a bunch in our research of stone houses. (The Mister's dream is to build a stone house.) I have faith that one day the dream of having a sustainable, zero use house will be ours.
